Women among 49 booked for stealing wheat crop, attacking police.

NAKODAR 4 MAY 

The Mehat Pur police have booked 49 persons including women for stealing wheat crop and attacking police.

Station House Officer (SHO) Labh Singh said that the accused are Dalip Kau wife of Gurmej Singh a resident of Aadramaan village her sons and daughter in laws and their other accomplices.

Paramjit Singh a resident of the same village complained to the police that the accused forcibly harvested his wheat crop and violated order of the deputy commissioner.

SHO said the police reached on the spot and the accused attacked police team and a case under different sections of the BNS has been registered against the accused and riads are being conducted to arrest them.
