Four booked for assaulting co-

The Nakodar Sadar police have booked four villagers on the charge of assaulting a co-villager.
Investigating officer (IO) Tirath Ram said that the accused have been identified as
Pardeep Singh, Jagjit Singh, Armaan and Gursahib Singh all residents of Littran village
Jasprit Singh, a resident of the same village, complained to the police that the accused waylaid him on April 2 and attacked him with weapons and injured and threatened him with dire consequences.
IO said that a case under sections 115(2),117(2) (voluntarily causing grievous hurt)127(2) (wrongful confinement) ,(351(1) ,351(2) (criminal intimidation) and 3(5) (committing crime with common intention) of the BNS has been registered against the accused.
The Nurmahal police also booked seven miscreants for assaulting Anup of Chuheki village said IO Janak Raj .
