Villager booked for selling illicit liquor.

NURMAHAL 22 APRIL 

The Bilga police have booked a villager on charges of selling illicit liquor.

Investigating Officer (IO) Bagicha Singh said that 59 bottles of illicit liquor were recovered from the possession of the accused, identified as Gurmej Singh a resident of Mao Sahib village who managed to flee from the spot.

A case has been registered against the accused under sections 61/1/14 of the Punjab Excise Act.
