Villager booked for stealing cash from religious place

NAKODAR 17 APRIL 

The Nakodar Sadar police have booked a villager on the charge of stealing cash from a religious place.

The investigating officer (IO)Jiwan Singh said that the accused has been identified as Lakhveer Singh son of Mohindar Singh a resident of Hairan.

Mukhtiar Singh sarpanch and a resident of the same village complained to the police the accused barged into a religious place (Baba Dhorra ) and stole cash from a coin box

IO said that a case under section 331 (4) (lurking house trespass), 305(theft in dwelling house) of the BNS has been registered against the accused.
