Villager arrested for
SHAHKOT 17 APRIL
The Shahkot police have arrested a villager on the charge of smuggling liquor.
Investigating Officer Sarwann Singh said 7 bottles of liquor were seized from the possession of the accused, identified as Mangat Singh, a resident of Thammu Wal village.
A case under sections 61/1/14 of the Punjab Excise Act has been registered against the accused.
