Woman among six booked for culpable homicide

NAKODAR 16 APRIL 

The Mehat Pur police have booked six persons including a woman on the charges of killing a youth by giving him drug overdose.

Investigating officer (IO)Jugraj Singh said that the accused have been identified as Gurmit Singh son of Gola a resident of Rai Pur Arayian Mand village his wife Manjit Kaur. Bakhshish  Singh  alias Shisha a son of Mohindar Singh a resident of the same village his sons Navdeep Singh and Malkit Singh alias Mithu and Bhagwan Singh son of Kushal Singh a resident of the same village.

Karnail Singh a resident of the same village complained to the police that the accused administrated a drug overdose to his son Baljindar Singh which killed him.

IO said that a case under section 105(culpable homicide not amounting to murder) of the BNS has been registered against the accused. No arrests have been made, and raids are being conducted to nab the absconding accused.
