Drug peddler arrested under NDPS Act

NURMAHAL 25  MARCH

The Nurmahal police have arrested a drug peddler on charge of selling intoxicant tablets.

Investigating Officer (IO) Amandeep Singh said that 24 intoxicant tablets(loose) were recovered from the possession of the accused, identified as

Ashwani Kumar alias Ashani son of Piara Lal alias Billa a resident of near Aujla Market Nurmahal.

IO   stated that a case under sections 22/ 61/ 85 of the NDPS Act has been registered against the accused.
