Father, son trio    booked for assaulting co-villager

NAKODAR  17 MARCH

The Nakodar Sadar police have booked a father-son trio on the charge of assaulting a co-villager.

Investigating officer (IO) and Shankar police post in charge Paramjit Singh   said that the accused have been identified as Surindar Singh, a resident of Tahli village, and his two sons Kulwant Singh and Manjindar Singh.

Harpreet Singh, a resident of the same village complained to the police that the accused attacked him with weapons and seriously injured him, and threatened him with dire consequences.

IO said that a case under sections 115(2) ,118(2) (voluntarily causing grievous hurt),351(2) (criminal intimidation) and 3(5) (committing crime with common intention) of the BNS has been registered against the accused.
