Villager booked for raping minor

NURMAHAL 15 MARCH 

 The Bilga police have booked a villager on the charge of raping a minor.

Investigating officer (IO) Inspector Meena Kumari said that the accused has been identified as Ajay Kumar son of Karam Singh a resident of Burj Hassan village

The mother r of the victim complained to the police that the accused assaulted her minor daughter and forcibly raped her

IO said a case under section 65(1) (rape of a woman under sixteen years) of BNS and sections 4 and 6 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POSCO) Act -2012 has been registered against the accused.
