Nine miscreants booked for murder bid

The Mehat Pur police have booked nine miscreants on the charge of attempt to murder.

Investigating Officer (IO) Kashmir Singh said that the accused have been identified as Amandeep Singh,Gurpreet Singh and Balwant Singh residents of Bute Dian Chhana village and their six unidentified accomplices.

Amar Kaur wife of Mohindar Singh sarpanch of the same village complained to the police that the accused waylaid her and husband and attacked them with sharp edged weapons seriously injured and threatened to kill them.

IO said a case under sections109(attempt to murder) 326 (wrongful restraint )115(2) (voluntarily causing hurt) 351(2) (criminal conspiracy) 191(3) ,190(rioting with dangerous weapons) of the BNS been registered against the accused.
