Drug peddler arrested under NDPS Act

SHAHKOT 25 FEBRUARY 

The Shahkot police have arrested a drug peddler on the charge of selling intoxicant tablets.

Investigating Officer (IO) Major Singh said that 27 intoxicant tablets (loose) were recovered from the possession of the accused, identified as Nikka son of Sikandar a resident of Said Pur Jhirri village.

IO stated that a case under sections 22A/ 61/ 85 of the NDPS Act has been registered against the accused.
