Family trio booked for assaulting co- villager

The Lohian Khas police have booked a family trio on the charge of assaulting a co- villager.

Investigating officer (IO) Kashmir Singh said that the accused have been identified as Lakhwindar   Singh son of Puran Singh a resident of Jania Chahal village. His wife Sukhwinder Kaur and son Ekam Jot Singh.

Shingara Singh, a resident of the same village complained to the police that the accused were harvesting wheat from his fields on April 20 afternoon and when he asked them to stop the accused attacked him and barged into his house and ransacked it.

IO said that a case under sections 115(2), (voluntarily causing )333(3) (lurking house trespass )351(2) (criminal intimidation) 324(2) (mischief and 3(5) (committing crime with common intention) of the BNS has been against the accused.
