Drug overdose kills youth: Nurmahal villager arrested for culpable homicide

NAKODAR 19 FEBRUARY 

 The Mehat Pur police have arrested a Nurmahal villager on the charges of killing a youth by giving him drug overdose.

Investigating officer (IO)Kashmir Singh said that the accused has been identified as Vishal son of Gurdeep Kumar resident of Nat village under Nurmahal police station.

Tirath Ram a resident of Udho Wal village colony complained to the police that the accused administrated a drug overdose to his son Jasbir Singh Jassa in area of Mehat Pur which killed him on February 17.

IO said that a case under sections 105 (culpable homicide not amounting to murder) of the BNS   has been registered against the accused.
