Six miscreants booked for assault, snatching Rs 1900

NAKODAR 22 AUGUST 

The Mehat Pur police have booked six miscreants on charges of assault and snatching cash.

Investigating Officer (IO) Puran Singh said that the accused have been identified as Lov, Sonu, and Jagga residents of Aadramaan village, Deepa,. Billu and Harman of Mehat Pur

Sandeep of Aadramaan village complained to the police that the accused waylaid him on August 15, attacked him with weapons, snatched Rs 1900 and a smartphone, and threatened him.

IO said that a case under sections 304(2) (snatching), 115(2) (voluntarily causing hurt ), 351(3(criminal intimidation )191(3)(rioting ) 190(unlawful assembly) and 324(4) (mischief)  of the BNS has been registered against accused and further investigation are on.
