Drug peddler arrested under NDPS Act

SHAHKOT 26 MARCH 

The Shahkot police have arrested a drug peddler on the charge of selling intoxicant tablets.

Investigating Officer (IO) Sarwann Singh said that 15 intoxicant tablets were recovered from the possession of the accused, identified as

Sukhwant Singh alias Sukha son of Ram Singh   resident of Bhodi Wala village under Dharam Kot police station in Moga.

IO stated that a case under sections 22/ 61/ 85 of the NDPS Act has been registered against the accused.
