Ludhiana resident booked for death by negligence

 The Bilga police have booked a Ludhiana city resident on charges of causing death by negligence and rash driving on a public road.

Investigating Officer (IO) Avtar Lal said that the accused has been identified as Nishan Singh, a resident of Salem Tabri, Ludhiana

Tarsem Lal, a resident of Bath Kalan village in Nakodar, complained to the police that the accused was driving his transport auto negligently and fast on September 11 on Talwann -Phillaur road and hit another auto and injuring a woman passenger, who was killed.

IO said that a case under sections 106 (causing death by negligence) , 281(rash driving on a public way), 125(A) ,125(B) (causing grievous hurt and 324 ($) (mischief)of the BNS has been registered against the accused.
