Villager arrested for smuggling/selling   liquor 

NAKODAR 24 AUGUST 

 The Nakodar Sadar police have arrested a villager woman on the charge of smuggling and selling liquor.

 Investigating Officer(IO) Jagtar  Singh said that 57 bottles of liquor were recovered from the possession of the accused, identified as Ramesh Kumar alias Raju, a resident of Sarihn village.

IO said a case under sections 61/1/14 of the Punjab Excise Act has been registered against the accused.
