Seven booked for snatching motorcycle and firing

The Shahkot police have booked seven miscreants for snatching a motorcycle and firing.

Investigating Officer (IO) Parjindar Kaur said that the accused have been identified as Jaswant Singh alias Shaki doctor, son of Ajit Singh, a resident of Rame village, and his six unidentified accomplices.

Balraj Singh alias Gaji a resident of Rame village, complained to the police that the accused and his accomplices fought with him and fired to intimidate, and snatched his motorcycle.

IO said a case under sections 304(2) (snatching), 125 (act endangering life or personal safety of others) of the BNS and sections 27/54/59 of the Arms Act has been registered against the accused, and an empty cartridge was recovered.
