Seven booked for assaulting Nakodar resident.

The Nurmahal police have booked seven miscreants for assaulting a Nakodar resident.

Investigating Officer (IO) Subash Chandar said that the accused have been identified as Lovepreet a resident of Cheema Kalan village, Saba, a resident of Cheema Khurd, and their five unidentified accomplices.

Naresh Kumar a resident of Rahim Pur village in Nakodar, complained to the police that the accused waylaid him at Nurmahal on September 16 and attacked him, injuring seriously and threatened him with dire consequences.

IO said a case under sections 115(2) ,118(2) ( voluntarily causing grievous hurt) 126(2)( wrong full restrain) 351(2) (criminal intimidation) 191(3),190(unlawful assembly and rioting) of the BNS has been registered against the accused .
