Two women among five arrested for murder bid, firing

The Lohian Khas have arrested five persons including two women on the charge of attempt to murder and firing

Investigating Officer (IO) Harwindar Singh said that the accused has been identified as

Mukhtiar Singh son of Kehar Singh  a resident of Chak Bandala village his wife Paramjit Kaur ,brothers Harjindar Singh and Balkar Singh and Charan Kaur wife of Swarann Singh a resident of the same village.

Paramjit Kaur wife of Mukhtiar Singh a resident of the same village had complained to the police that the accused had   barged into her house in April 11evening and assaulted her and her family members and one accused Anmol Singh a resident of Tibbi Ranga village had fired targeting them with intention to kill.

Investigating Officer said a case under sections109(attempt to murder)333(house trespass) 324(4) (mischief )191(3) (rioting armed with deadly weapons) 190(unlawful assembly) of the BNS and 25/27/54/59 of the Arms Act was registered against the accused and others, and four accused were arrested earlier in this case.
