Gurdas Pur Tipper driver arrested for rash driving.

SHAHKOT 13 APRIL 

The Shahkot police have arrested a tipper driver motorcyclist on charges of rash driving and selling intoxicant tablets.

Investigating Officer (IO) Parjindar Kaur said that the accused has been identified as Amarjit Singh son of Santokh Singh a resident of Bho Pur Saidan village under Sadar Gurdas Pur police station.

Sarabjit Singh a resident of Nawan Pind Akalian village complained to the police that the accused was driving his tipper fast and negligently and hit his car near Toll Plaza Chak Bahmannian village.

IO said a case under section 281(rash driving) 324(4) (mischief) of the BNS and 22/61/85 of the NDPS Act has been registered against the accused and recovered 18 intoxicant tablets (loose) from his possession.
