Women among two drugs peddlers arrested under NDPS Act

police have arrested two drug peddlers including a woman for selling intoxicant tablets.

Investigating Officer (IO) Charanjit Singh said that 60 (35 +25) intoxicant tablets(loose) were recovered from the possession of the accused, identified as

Soma Bai wife of Sukhdev Singh   and Nirmal Singh son of Manjit Singh residents of Burj Hassan village.

 

IO stated that a case has been registered under sections 22/ 61/ 85 of the NDPS Act against the accused.
