Couple booked for outraging woman’s

The Nakodar Sadar police have booked a couple on the charges of outraging woman’s modesty and voluntarily causing hurt.
Investigating officer (IO) and in-charge Uggi police post Buta Ram said that the accused have been identified as Balwindar Deep Singh son of Buta Singh a resident of Talwandi Salen village and his wife Parmindar Kaur.
Jaswindar Kaur wife of Sukhdev Singh a resident of the same village complained to the police that the accused assaulted and injured her and outraged her modesty.
IO said that a case under sections 74 (criminal force to woman with intent to outrage her modesty) 115(2)(voluntary causing hurt )351(2)(criminal conspiracy) 303(2) (theft)and 3(5)(committing crime with common intention) of the BNS has been registered against the accused.
