Ten booked for assaulting villager

NAKODAR  1 JULY 

 The Mehat Pur police have booked ten persons on the charge of assaulting a villager.

Investigating officer (IO) Amrik Lal said that the accused have been identified as Gurpreet and Harpreet, residents of Aadramann village, and their eight unidentified accomplices.

Sukhdev Lal a resident of the same village, complained to the police that the accused barged into his house and attacked him with a weapon, and injured him, and threatened him with dire consequences.

IO said that a case under sections 115(voluntarily causing hurt),333(house trespass), 191(3)(rioting armed with dangerous weapons), and 190(unlawful assembly)  of the BNS has been registered against the accused.
