Youth booked for kidnapping minor girl

NAKODAR 3 NOVEMBER 

 The Nakodar Sadar police have booked a youth on the charge of kidnapping a minor girl.

Investigating Officer (IO)Sukhwindar Singh said that the accused has been identified as Sunil son of Jaggi a resident of Seham village.

The father of the victim, a resident of the same village, complained to the police that the accused kidnapped her minor daughter on the pretext of marriage.

IO said that a case under sections 137(2) (kidnapping) and 96 (procurement of child) of the BNS has been registered against the accused.
