Villager arrested for raping minor girl

NURMAHAL 1NOVEMBER

The Bilga police have arrested a villager on the charge of raping a minor girl.

The investigating officer (IO), Parveen Bala said that the accused has been identified as Dharmindar Pal alias Bhindi son of Dharam Pal a resident of Kaliann Pur village.

The mother of the victim complained to the police that the accused raped her minor daughter.

IO said that a case under section 65(1) (rape) of the BNS and section 6 of the POCSO Act has been registered against the accused.
