Unidentified booked for stealing items from electrical shop

NURMAHAL 23 OCTOBER

The Nurmahal police have booked unidentified thieves for stealing items from a electrical shop.

Naridar Pal Singh , a resident of Mohalla Shiv Vihar Colony here, complained to the police that thieves barged into his Bansal electrical shop on Tandaura Road on October 21 night and stole many items.

Investigating Officer Subash Chandar said that a case under sections 331(4) (lurking house trespass) and 305(theft in dwelling house) of the BNS has been registered against unidentified accused.

Increasing incidents of thefts in the city have created a sense of insecurity among residents and put a question mark on police functioning.
