Drug peddler arrested under NDPS Act  

SHAHKOT 17 OCTOBER 

 The Shahkot  police have arrested a drug peddler on charge of selling intoxicant tablets.

  Investigating Officer (IO) Varun Patiyal said that 27 intoxicant tablets were recovered from the possession of the accused, identified as Pardeep   son of Tara Singh, a resident of Pati Haveli, Malsian village.

IO said a case under sections 22/61/85 of the NDPS Act has been registered against the accused.
