Tarn Taran man booked for outraging woman’s modesty

 The Mehat Pur police have booked a person on charges of outraging a woman’s modesty and house trespass.

Investigating officer (IO) Davindar Singh said that the accused has been identified as Ajay Pal Singh a resident of Verro Wal Dara Pur village in Tarn Taran.

The victim complained to the police that the accused barged into her house forcibly assaulted her physically tore her cloths and try to rape her and threatened her.

IO said that a case under sections 74(criminal force to woman with intent to outrage her modesty), 333(house trespass after preparation for hurt) and 351(2) (criminal intimidation) of the BNS has been registered against the accused.
