Villager arrested for outraging woman’s modesty

 NAKODAR 29 SEPTEMBER 

  The Nakodar Sadar police have arrested a villager on the charge of outraging a woman’s modesty.

Investigating Officer (IO) Sukhwindar Singh said that the accused has been identified as Arshdeep alias Raja son of Sukhraj a resident of Bagh Pur village.

Gurmail Chand a resident of Bagh Pur village had complained to the police that the accused and his accomplices had attacked him and his wife on November 5,2025 and tore her and her daughter’s clothes and threatened him with dire consequences.

IO said that a case under sections74(use of criminal force to woman with intent to outrage her modesty),110(attempt to commit culpable homicide), 115(2) (voluntarily causing hurt), 191(3) and 190(rioting with deadly weapons and unlawful assembly) and 3(5) (committing crime with common intention) of the BNS was registered against the accused and others.
