JK car driver arrested  for causing death by negligence 

LOHIAN KHAS 28 SEPTEMBER 

 

The Lohian Khas police have arrested a JK car driver on charges of causing death by negligence, rash driving and mischief.

 

Investigating Officer (IO) Tirath Ram said that the accused has been identified as Sarabjot Singh son of Raghbir Singh a resident of Rajouri district of JK and presently living in New Deol Nagar in Bhargo Camp Jalandhar.

 

 

 

 

 

Daljit Kumar a resident of Mehmu Wal Yusaf Pur village  that that the accused was driving fast and negligently   his car and hit his cousin brother ‘Gurpreet Singh ‘s motorcycle and killed him on the spot near Nihaloo Wal village.

 

Investigating Officer said that a case under sections 106 (causing death by negligence), 281(rash driving on public road), and 427(mischief) of the BNS has been registered against the accused who was released on bail.
