Under the directions of S. Harvinder Singh Virk, PPS, Senior Superintendent of Police, Jalandhar Rural, strict instructions have been issued to thoroughly investigate and solve serious criminal cases as part of the ongoing campaign against serious crimes.

In compliance with these directions, a serious kidnapping case registered vide FIR No. 127 dated 23.07.2026 under Sections 140(3) and 3(5) BNS at Police Station City Nakodar was thoroughly investigated by a police team under the supervision of Vineet Ahlawat, IPS, Superintendent of Police (Investigation) and Onkar Singh Brar, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Sub-Division Nakodar.

During the course of investigation, using modern investigative and technical methods, police allegedly found that the kidnapping story had been fabricated by the complainant in connivance with his associates. The police exposed the alleged conspiracy and arrested three persons, including the complainant, while also recovering the allegedly kidnapped person and the vehicle allegedly used in the incident.

Giving details, Onkar Singh Brar, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Sub-Division Nakodar, stated that on 22.07.2026, Mam Hussain, son of Lal Hussain, resident of Patti Nieawal, village Bundala, Police Station Nurmahal, was assaulted near a brick kiln in the area of Sunnad Kalan. Following the incident, Mam Hussain was admitted to Civil Hospital Nakodar.

During the same night, information was received that Mam Hussain had allegedly been kidnapped from Civil Hospital Nakodar by unidentified persons. Acting promptly, the SHO, Police Station City Nakodar, initiated legal proceedings and registered FIR No. 127 dated 23.07.2026 under Sections 140(3) and 3(5) BNS. Investigation was subsequently taken up by SI Davinder Kumar.

During the investigation, various leads were examined with the assistance of modern investigative and technical methods. The investigation allegedly revealed that Lal Hussain, father of Mam Hussain and complainant in the case, had conspired with his associates to fabricate the kidnapping of his own son.

DSP Onkar Singh Brar further stated that on 23.07.2026 at about 02:00 AM, Lal Hussain himself took his son Mam Hussain in a Swift car bearing registration number PB 47-E-9200 and kept him concealed at different locations.

The investigation further revealed that Lal Hussain, with the assistance of his associates, allegedly continued to mislead the police by submitting repeated applications regarding the recovery of his son and by personally appearing before the police in connection with the alleged kidnapping.

After conducting an in-depth investigation, Jalandhar Rural Police allegedly exposed the fabricated kidnapping conspiracy.
