8 miscreants booked for assaulting woman

The Mehat Pur police have booked 8 miscreants on charges of assaulting a woman.

 

Investigating Officer (IO) Davindar Singh said that the accused have been identified as Pawandeep Singh ,Rupa Singh, his son Buta Singh residents of Bhode village under Bilga police station and Sukhdev Singh a resident of Chandi Wal village and their four unidentified accomplices

 

Manjit Kaur wife of Buta Singh a resident of Rai Pur Rayeen village complained to the police the accused barged into her house and assaulted her and ransacked her vehicle parked in courtyard

 

IO said a case under sections331(6) (lurking house trespass) 333(house trespass after preparation for assault) 115(2) (voluntarily causing hurt),324(4) (mischief) and 191(3),190(rioting and unlawful assembly) of the BNS has been registered against the accused.
