Six drug peddlers arrested under NDPS Act

The Bilga police have arrested a drug peddler on the charge of selling poppy husk
Investigating Officer (IO) Govindar Singh said that 2 kilograms of poppy husk were recovered from the possession of the accused identified as Chamkaur Singh son of Gurdeep Singh a resident of Sango Wal village.
IO said that a case under sections 15-B/ 61/ 85/ of the NDPS Act has been registered against the accused.
The Nakodar City police have arrested two drug peddler Viki son of Dari and Rinku son of Balwindar Singh residents of Mohalla Kamal Pura with 46(21+25) intoxicant tablets said SHO Harmindar Singh.
The Mehat Pur police arrested drug peddler Mangal Singh son of Puran Singh of Muskar Colony, Mehat Pur with 100 intoxicant capsules and 33 intoxicant tablets said IO Major Singh .
The Shahkot police arrested drug peddler Gurmit Singh son of Tara Singh a resident of Lattian Wal village in Kapurthala, with 19 intoxicant tablets and Rs19000 drug money, said IO Parwindar Singh.
The Nakodar Sadar police arrested drug peddler Jogindar Pal son of Bahadar Singh of Chak Vendal village, with 31 intoxicant tablets, said IO Paramjit Singh.
