15 miscreants booked for assaulting villager

NAKODAR  7 SEPTEMBER

The Nakodar Sadar police have booked 15 miscreants on charges of assaulting a villager.

Investigating Officer (IO) Jiwan Singh said that the accused have been identified as Boby,Rajat,Sunil,Rajveer and Rohit all resident of Seham village and their 10 unidentified accomplices.

Ajay Kumar a resident of Awann Chaharmi village complained to the police the accused waylaid him on September 4 evening and attacked with weapons and seriously injured and threatened him

IO said a case under sections 115(2).118(1) (voluntarily causing grievous hurt),126(wrongful restraint )351(2)(criminal intimidation) 191(3).190(rioting and unlawful assembly) of the BNS has been registered against the accused,
