Four booked for outraging religious feelings

The Lohian Khas police have booked four villagers on charges of outraging religious feelings by insulting
religious beliefs.

Investigating Officer (IO) Tirath Ram said that the accused have been identified as Dildar Singh, Navjindar Singh, Jaskaran Singh and Baljit Singh all residents of Sajjan Wal village

Manjit Singh a resident of the same village complained to the police that the accused broke open gate of Gurdwara on July 17 and enter inside with bad intention and fled way when he and other residents went for check up

IO said a case under section 298(injuring or defiling place of worship with intent to outrage the religious feelings of any class), 331(4) (lurking house trespass) and 62 (criminal conspiracy) of the BNS has was registered against the accused.
