Two booked for encroaching agriculture land

The Bilga police have booked two villagers on the charges of encroaching a piece of agriculture land.

Investigating officer (IO) Amandeep Singh said that the accused have been identified as Gagan Deep Singh and Gurbaksh Singh residents of Talwann village

Satwindar Singh a resident of the same village complained to the police that the accused Gagan planted paddy in his one-acre land at the behest of Gurbaksh with intention to encroach it

IO said a case under sections 329(3)(criminal trespass) and 61(2) (criminal trespass) and 62 (attempting to commit offences punishable with life imprisonment or other) of the BNS has been registered against the accused.
