Unidentified miscreants booked duping Mehat Pur villager of Rs 10.14 Lakhs

The Cyber Crime Police station of Jalandhar (rural) police has booked unidentified miscreants for duping a Mehat Pur village resident of Rs 10 .14 Lakhs on the pretext of investment

Om Parkash, a resident of Kurla Pur village under Mehat Pur police station, complained to the Senior Superintendent of Police, Jalandhar (rural police), that an unidentified accused cheated him of Rs 10.40 by promising investment.

Investigating Officer Gagan Deep Singh said a case under section 318(4) (cheating) of the BNS has been registered against an unidentified accused, and further investigations are on.
