Unidentified miscreants booked for murdering

The Nakodar Sadar police have booked a unidentified miscreants on the charge of murdering a Kapurthala man
Station House Officer (SHO) Palwindar Singh said that the deceased has been identified as Gurwindar Singh, son of Ranjit Singh a resident of Passann Kadim village under Kabir Pur station, Kapurthala
Manjit Singh a resident of Alla Daad Chak village under Sultan Pur Lodhia police station Kapurthala complained to the police that his maternal counion Gurwindar Singh went outside from his house on August 3 without selling anybody as a routine but did not return home adding that he searched for Gurwindar Singh everywhere but of no avail.
The complainant said that he received an information from Nakodar Sadar police on August 7 that the body of Gurwindar Singh has been found near Jahan Gir village on Nakodar Kapurthala road which was packed in a plastic bag and was badly decomposed.
Manjit Singh said unidentified miscreants have murdered his cousin by strangulating and hitting his head.
SHO said a case under sections 103 (murder) disappearance of evidence) of the BNS has been registered against unidentified miscreants.
