Drug peddler arrested under NDPS Act

SHAHKOT  8 AUGUST

The Shahkot police have arrested a drug peddler on the charge of selling intoxicant tablets.

Investigating Officer (IO) Varun Patiyal said that 24 intoxicant tablets (loose) were recovered from the possession of the accused identified as Balwindar Singh alias Kundi Sarkar son of Iqbal Singh a resident of Pati Sahla Nagar, Malsian village.

IO said a case under sections 22/61/85 of the NDPS Act has been registered against the accused.
