Seven drug peddlers arrested under NDPS Act

NAKODAR /SHAHKOT /NURMAHAL 5 AUGUST 

The Nakodar City police have arrested three drug peddlers for selling intoxicant tablets .

Station House Officer (SHO) Harmindar Singh said that 60(21+20+19) intoxicant tablets were recovered from the possession of the accused, identified as Rishu son of Resham and Manpreet Singh son of Som Nath residents of Mohalla Kamal Pura and Ashok Kumar alias Viki son of Makhan a resident of Malrri village and

SHO stated that cases under sections 22/ /61/ 85 of the NDPS Act have been registered against the accused.

The Nakodar Sadar police arrested drug peddler Lovpreet Singh son of Balveer Singh of Saidu Pur village with 17 intoxicant tablets said IO Buta Ram .

Then Shahkot police arrested drug peddler Vinod alias Bhundi son of Kashmiri of Mohalla Dhorra with 22 intoxicant tablets said IO Sukhwindar Singh .

The Nurmahal police arrested drug peddlers Charjit Kumar alias Pindu son of Ram Pal of Kot Badal Khan village and Ravindar Kumar son of Lakhwindar Singh of Ajtanni village with 48(30+18) intoxicant tablets said SHO Gurmit Ram
