Shahkot car driver booked for rash driving.

NURMAHAL 31 JULY 

The Nurmahal police have booked a Shahkot car  driver on charges of rash driving.

Investigating Officer (IO) Tirath Ram said that the accused has been identified as Gurjant Singh a resident of Mannak Pur village under Shahkot Khas police station

Vishal Mehato , a resident of Sham Pur  village,  complained to the police that the accused was driving fast and negligently  his car on January 31 and hit his motorcycle and injured him seriously near Cheema Kalan Gate on Nurmahal -Phillaur Road .

IO said that a case under sections 281(rash driving on the public highway) , 125(A),125-B (causing grievous hurt by endangering life or personal safety of others) and 324(4) (mischief) of the BNS has been registered against the accused.
