UP resident booked for cheating, breach of trust

NAKODAR 29 JULY 

 The Mehat Pur police have booked a Uttar Pradesh (UP) resident on charges of cheating and breach of trust.

Investigating Officer (IO) Janak Raj said that that the accused has been identified as Som Pal Sharma, son of Charan Singh a resident of Bhaagal Pur district in UP.

Chatar Singh a resident of Gurdeep Singh a resident of Baba Ram Ji, Mallo Ji, Mehat Pur complained to the police that the accused duped him of Rs 28.88 Lakhs on the pretext of his half share in a JBC.

IO said that a case under sections 406(breach of trust) and 420(cheating) of the IPC (as the incident occurred in the past) has been registered against the accused after an inquiry, and further investigations are on.
