Two Nakodar residents arrested for attempt to commit culpable homicide

NAKODAR 26 JULY 

The Nakodar city police have arrested two Nakodar residents on the charge of attempt to commit culpable homicide not amounting to murder.

Investigating officer (IO)Rajindar Pal Singh said that the accused have been identified as Honey Kundi, son of Sham Lal a resident of Nakodar, and his brother Bablu Kundi.

Nitish Sharma, a resident of Malrri village, complained to the police that the accused and their many unidentified accomplices waylaid him on the evening of July 24 and attacked him with weapons and injured him, and threatened him with dire consequences

IO said a case under sections 110(attempt to commit culpable homicide not amounting to murder), 115(2) (voluntarily causing hurt), 126(wrongful restraint), 351(2) (criminal intimidation), 191, 190 (rioting, unlawful assembly) was registered against the accused
