Unidentified miscreants booked for stealing foreign currency, cash, jewellery from two houses.

The Lohian Khas police have booked unidentified miscreants for stealing foreign currency, cash and jewellery from two houses.

Dilbag Singh and Harmail Singh, residents of Raiyee Wal Bet village, complained to the police that unidentified thieves barged into their houses on the night of July 14 and stole cash Rs 1.40 Lakh and Rs 32000 in Philippine foreign currency and gold jewellery, and other items.

Investigating Officer Kashmir Singh said that a case under sections 331(4) (lurking house trespass) and 305(theft in dwelling house) of the BNS has been registered against unidentified accused.
