Unidentified booked for stealing items from sanitary shop

NAKODAR 17 JULY

The Nakodar city police have booked unidentified thieves for stealing items from a sanitary shop.

Kuldeep Singh, a resident of Baba Malik Bazar here, complained to the police that thieves barged into his sanitary shop near Baroda Bank branch on July 15 night and stole brass taps and submersible wire.

Investigating Officer Narinder Singh   said that a case under sections 331(4) (lurking house trespass) and 305(theft in dwelling house) of the BNS has been registered against unidentified accused.

Increasing incidents of thefts in the city have created a sense of insecurity among residents and put a question mark on police functioning.
