Woman among six booked for outraging woman’s

The Mehat Pur police have booked six persons including a woman on the charge of outraging woman’s modesty.
Investigating Officer (IO)Janak Raj said that the accused have been identified as Paramjit Singh a resident of Warra Salaam village, his wife Rupa ,Lakhwindar Pal Singh of the same village and his three sons Lovpreet Singh, Navpreet Singh and Sukha.
Harpreet Kaur a resident of the same village complained to the police the accused assaulted and outraged her modesty and threatened her
IO said that a case under section 74 (criminal force to woman with intent to outrage her modesty),115(2) (voluntarily causing hurt) 351(2)(criminal intimidation) 191(3) and 190(rioting and unlawful assembly ) of the BNS has been registered against the accused. No arrested have been made and raids are being conducted to nab the absconding accused.
