Shahkot villager arrested for raping minor

SHAHKOT 6 JULY 

The Shahkot police have arrested a villager on charge of raping a minor

Investigating Officer (IO) Inspector Seema said that the accused has been identified as Jasveer Singh son of Sadhu Singh a resident of Punia village

The mother of the victim complained to the police that the accused kidnapped her minor daughter and raped her.

IO said a case under sections 65(2) (rape of minor),74,75(sexual harassment) 87,137(2) (kidnapping to murder or for ransom) of the BNS and section 6 and 10 of POSCO Act has been registered against the accused.
