Father son duo booked for attempt to commit culpable homicide

The Nakodar Sadar police have booked a father son duo on the charge of attempt to commit culpable homicide not amounting to murder.

Investigating officer (IO)Sukhwindar Singh said that the accused have been identified as Narindar Jit Singh a resident of Kotla Bhagoo village and his son Manpreet Singh.

Jagdev Singh a resident of the same village, complained to the police that his uncle and nephew attacked him with sharp-edged weapons on June 2 morning on his motor and injured him seriously.

IO said a case under sections 110(attempt to commit culpable homicide not amounting to murder), 115(2) (voluntarily causing hurt) and 3(5) (committing crime with common intention) of the BNS have been registered against the accused. No arrests have been made,
