Woman among three booked for filing forged documents in court
NAKODAR 17 JUNE
The Nakodar City police have booked three persons including a woman on the charge of filing forged documents in court.
Investigating Officer (IO) Jagtar Singh said that the accused have been identified as Jagdish Singh son of Tara Singh a resident of Rasul Pur village under Phillaur police station, Gurjit Kaur (fake) and Amarjit Singh (fake Nambardar ) residents of Kartar Pur in Jalandhar.
Dinesh Thapar reader of Judicial Magistrate First Class (JMIC) Nakodar sent an order passed by the court of JMIC Taranpreet Singh to the police to register a case against the accused for filing fake security bonds in the court for bail in a case and committed crimes of forgery and cheating.
IO said a case under sections 212(furnishing false information),216(false statement on oath),319(cheating by personation),336(forgery )340(forged documents),341(making or possessing counterfeit seal) and 342(counterfeiting devise or mark) of the BNS has been registered against the accused as ordered by the court.
